Film Processing

We develop and process films instore for most current film types and a lot of the older types as well. Are you a photolab looking for developing services? If so we can provide wholesale developing to suit your needs.

Our retail and wholesale negative processing service includes all normal roll negatives for the colour processing (C-41) and we process these in store most weekdays and may process on Saturday if sufficient notice and volume permits. Our partners may also offer additional negative processing options, so please discuss your requirements.

Quick Gift Ideas

Having your image or corporate design printed onto mugs or other gifting media is a nice personalised touch as a gift or prize. We have a range of options that we can produce instore and even more we have available through our professional partners.

We can print in-store on mugs, glass, candle holders, keyrings and we also offer printing on a very large variety of other products through our partners.

Canvas Prints

We create your images onto Canvas that is stretched onto frames and are UV coated for protection against light and the environment. Our sizes start at 8"x8" (200mmx200mm) and go up to 20"x30" (500mmx750mm) instore and larger through our partners.

Each canvas is coated and comes ready to hang. While most customers choose to have the sides of the canvas as a stretched mirror of the edge of the image, you can have choose other options such as solid colour or continue the image around the sides.

Passport Photos

We use licensed biometric software to correctly size and conform passport photos to meet the requirements of Governments around the world. These can be printed and emailed with accompanying certification if required. We also provide passport style photos for domestic purposes such as certification licenses and tickets. We conform to the strict rules around these photos and we ask for your compliance and understanding when taking these photos.

We can also scan to USB or other media and we process negative films instore. We know and understand all aspects of photographic media. We print on the best Silver Halide archival photographic paper in both Matte and Gloss up to 12" (300mm) wide and on High Quality Epson paper up to 24" wide (600mm).

We can also scan to USB or other media and we process negative films instore. We know and understand all aspects of photographic media.

It may be time consuming preparing the media for your chosen project and may be a little intimidating if you are new to the software or the options available. Please discuss with us instore and we can help you achieve your project reality. We will offer assistance and advice, but in most cases we ask that you use our intuitive kiosks to prepare the projects yourself. Some of these can also be performed online through our web app.

Restoration

We can restore your old photos or change your newer ones to provide new backgrounds or people inclusion or removal. We can add words and other images for trophies and memorabilia. Like all our work, Historical and Military photos particularly, are treated with the special care and discretion they deserve.

Our Restoration services cover reclaiming old photos to their former states through to massive detail changes. We may choose to provide these services either instore or through our partners at our discretion. If we choose instore, we may be able provide the results in a shorter timeline.

Slides/Negatives/Photos/Videos/Archiving

We have scanning stations instore to scan negatives (cut or roll), slides, prints (up to A3) or even your entire photo albums. Larger images can be scanned and stitched as an additional service. These can then be printed, or stored on digital media such as USB or SSD/HDD or DVD's. We also transfer VHS to these media and can outsource other types of tape to digital as well.

We all seem to remember our videos and photos looking much better years ago than they might present now. This may be due to natural aging of the substrate, exposure to the elements, storage choices or handling. Especially the case for magnetic media (video and audio tapes) the natural aging of the magnetic particle alignment means that over time the iron particles realign as first produced and that means to us that they images appear grainy or at worst, like a fresh un-recorded tape. This is why it is important to store correctly and maybe play the tapes periodically to maintain the data.

Did you know that the best form of archive over the last 150 years for photographic images, has been film based products such as glass plate, cellulose film and photographic paper that have all been developed using the Silver Halide process.
